We provide a safe environment that enables children to get excited about learning to cook real food using simple recipes and fresh, yummy ingredients. The kitchen is the tastiest classroom and our program incorporates lessons on maths, science, geography, culture, language, comprehension, hygiene, safety and the environment. Our culinary program also teaches the children about how food plays an important role in our lives both physically and socially.
Our eight week cooking program teaches children essential kitchen skills and techniques in a nurturing, fun and happy environment. Kids learn how to measure, mix, peel, grate, whip, decorate, slice and knead as they prepare wholesome and yummy dishes from around the world. We find that when kids are involved in the process of cooking, they are much more likely to try and experience new foods.
